The Battle of the Bloody Ridge was fought primarily between the combined Dalmascan, Estharian, and Galbadian troops under the command of Dalmascan Field Marshal Basch fon Ronsenburg and the Socialist Burmian troops under Kaung Thura Kan. The objective was aimed primarily at expelling the Dalmascan, Estharian, and Galbadian troops located in the South of Bethausia after allied lines were split into two fronts between the Commonwealth and Asianna Forces to the East and the former to the West. However, fon Ronsenburg's strategies had helped the three nation armies to combine and repulse massive communist and socialist attacks. Despite the use of numerous napalm and various other strikes, the Socialists failed to expel the Dalmascan, Estharian, and Galbadian formations in Asianna, which caused disastrous results after the battle. It was also the longest battle that took place in the civil war, being that the Burmian Army refused to cease attacks until February 25 the following year when the army had exhausted all of its resources on its repeated attacks on the ridge.

Later, fon Ronsenburg, along with Generals Zell Van de Dincht, and Theodor Von Bock were given a Bethausian Knighthood by William Edwardius III.
