The Twelve Generals' Rebellion (Burmia: တကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးဗိုလ်ချုပ်တို့၏ပုန်ကန်မှု) is a name given to a sudden rebellious conflict instigated by twelve generals as the 2017 Bethausian coup d'état raged. After Senior General Kaung Thura Kan, and Vice Generals Than Aye and Thura Thiha Myo Thet launched their coup on the royal government at 9:30 AM, various other generals and soldiers of the Tatmadaw have revealed their identities to be covert members of the United Front for the Restoration of Burmia, and as a result, they strategically mutinied, occupying various administrative regions and states by surprise.

This lead to the official establishment of two states being established: the Socialist Republic of Burmia in the north, and the Ducal Republic of Bethausia.
