Belle Horne (born June 1st, 1981), is an Eldmarsk-Blostlandic singer-songwriter, producer, and author. Born and raised in Northern Eldmark to Blostlandic parents, Horne has released eight studio albums and various smaller EPs. Her first album, Sagan om Danel Klippen, reached #1 on the Eldmarsk charts for 20 weeks, with breakaway song Jag förlåter dig bara när jag är full topping the charts and winning several Eldmarsk Musikfestival awards, as well as several Asterian Exposition prizes for live acts.
Her music career kicked off at an early age, with dropping out of high school to teach herself how to play the piano and guitar. After her debut, she released Öppnare och Stängare, a series of EPs of cover songs, many of which attained viral status and critical acclaim, of which she promised the proceeds to go to Help.com, an Asterian charity organization to benefit children who had suffered during war.
Horne's music through the years has shifted in genre and has been described as both folk and country. She has went on record to state that her genre was "pure and simply, Belle." She has founded, led, taken part of, or advocated for several charities, activism campaigns, and awareness fundraisers, such as Help.com, but also awareness for breast cancer, LGBT rights, feminism, and more. Notably, she drew controversy in 2007 for coming out as a lesbian which caused her then label RAZZ to drop her. After gay marriage was legalized a year later, RAZZ publicly apologized for their behavior, but Belle never rejoined, opting instead to create her own label Fifty Hogs, which operates more as a marketing and distribution service to independent artists.
She will be performing in Euclovision 2023 in St. Avelines, Estmere.
