Camden, C.T., known officially as Camden, Capital Territory and unofficially as CT or CCT, is the federal capital of Rizealand. Formerly, Camden was a city within a separate Capital Territory that was established in 1775. In 1880, the Central Assembly consolidated the city government of Camden and the Capital Territory government into the form it is today, with a single administration. Camden is located in the center of Rizealand and is bordered by Charlotte to the north, Providence to the east, Fáel to the south, and Lothicania to the west. Camden has a total area of 1,196.46 square kilometers, making it the second smallest territory and political division of Rizealand. Camden also has a population of 2,067,539, making it the most populous territory and tenth most populous political division of Rizealand.

Etymology

Camden is named after James Camden, the "Father of Rizealand," who successfully commanded the Rizealander armies in the Asterian War of Secession and served as the first President of Rizealand. The surrounding Capital Territory gets its name from the Articles of Federation which specify that the Central Assembly "shall designate a capital territory for the purposes of serving as the seat of the government of the Federation."
