Brigadier Sir. Carl Regnitz GEO GOH MP (20 August 1963) is an Erebonian officer currently serving in the Imperial Army of Erebonia as a Brigadier. He is also the current headmaster and a member of the board of directors of the Thors Military Academy. He also served as Erebonia's 37th Prime Minister from 2020 to 2024.
Born into a middle-class family, Regnitz is one of the victims of Erebonia's Noble Class meddling, which affected his days as a cadet in the Thors Military Academy. As a result, Regnitz became a staunch opponent of many nobles as he approached middle age. He would eventually become one of the prominent Imperial Family allies following his service to the Eugent Reize Arnor II in the 1980s. He became a member of parliament in 2008 and often engaged in debates against nobles who wanted to maintain their hold on the Erebonian Parliament. Following the War of the Commons, he became Erebonia's 37th Prime Minister as part of the Emperor's royal prerogative and played a big part in Erebonia's reconstruction. He also restored confidence of Allied nations to Erebonia and normalised relations with Erebonia's frequent rival, the Republic of Calvard. He voluntarily resigned in 2024 but was elected again to serve as Governor of Heimdallr for a 2nd term.
He is close friends with Kiriya Kitagawa and Victor S. Arseid, both of which had been instrumental in Erebonia's special forces development, as well as the development of learning centres throughout Erebonia. He also commands a small force known famously as Papa's Private Army, which serves as one of the Erebonian forces in Task Force 141.
