Cekov Aleksander Marino (born 13 October 1967) is a Zoygarian footballer, business executive, and former lawyer who is the 10th and current President of the World Cup Organization. He became president following the resignation of Jasmin Devillers on 28 January 2023. Prior to his ascension to the president of the WCO, he was the 17th President of the Central Nortua Football Association. Born in Akuí, Marino was one of the most famous football players in Zoygarian history, elevating the clubs he played in to four national championships, and into the semi-finals of three World Cups. Is his administrator role, one of Marino's initial priorities was to work on ways to improve competitive balance in Nortuan football and to reduce the gap between the elite clubs and the rest. He oversaw the controversial restructuring of the 2023 World Cup tournament which led to a smaller qualifying pool for competing nations.
