Biography
Early Life
David Forge was born on the 11th of June 1966, in Contwaraburg, to Mayla and Stephen Forge. His older brother Joseph, a crewman aboard a civilian cargo ship, was killed during the Whitebay Crisis. Upon graduating school in 1984, Forge enrolled in the Confederate Brytisc Fleet.
Service career
Forge attended Basic Training at Camp Aelle. He completed his training with the rank of Corporal and was assigned to the Nortymba Regiment as mechanised infantry. During the Pepper Atoll Intervention he was promoted to Sergeant, and during the Battle of St Joseph (1986) he led the platoon which rescued Major Adamov, a downed Stasnovan fighter pilot who had been captured by the Manaagnwe Militia.
Forge was promoted to Regimental Sergeant Major for his part in Adamov's rescue, and spent the next six years serving with the Nortymba Regiment in Pepper Atoll. By the end of the campaign he had risen to the OF-3 rank of Major, and was transferred to Camp Aelle to oversee security there.
In 1994 he was appointed to the general staff at Brytene and promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. In 1997 he was offered the rank of Commissar, but refused. However, when the Fale Revolutionary Internationale assassinated Fleet Commander Orvas Darren in 1998, Forge was recommended to serve as his replacement.
During the Brytisc-SACTO conflict he was in charge of overall operations, as Fleet Admiral Antonio Botas was in Pepper Atoll dealing with a crisis there.
