Deimoseut (officially the Federal Republic of Deimoseut) is a nation on the Deimos Peninsula in western Thrismari. It is bordered by Gassasinia to the south, Egsnart to the southwest, Kharzachia and Altoset to the east. It shares a water border across the Rhendam Strait with the nation of Rhendam. Deimoseut holds jurisdiction over 2 major islands in the Hagalaz Ocean; Kiai Island and Denver Island.
Deimoseut is divided into 41 states, 3 of which are on the islands. The continental states are grouped into 5 regions: Zentid Peninsula Region, Koplaavis Lakes Region, Kiavii Coast Region, Yttbric Steppe Region, and Vycter Desert Region, with 2 extra regions, Kiai and Denver, for the islands.
The five largest cities in Deimoseut are Koplaavis, Zentid, Iridiam, Zhetroit, and Diasii Bay. Zentid is the nation's capital, while Koplaavis is the main economic hub, with the port being one of the largest in the area.
Deimoseut as it is today was a breakaway state of the Rhendam Empire, which controlled the area from 1486 to 1723. The Rhendam Occupation continues to influence Deimic culture to this day. Cultures on the Deimos Peninsula have always been relatively separate from mainland Thrismari, because of the Vycter Mountains separating the people. However, cultures more similar to the nations in the Thrismari Desert were able to make their way through a northern gap in the mountains, settling in what is now northeastern Deimoseut and Kharzachia.
Deimoseut spans three different climates; a warmer, humid climate on the Hagalaz coast, a grassy, unusually cool climate in the Yttbric Steppe, and a hot, arid climate in the Vycter Desert.
Deimoseut is a recent inductee to the Sekidean Union.
