In the Federation of Soviet Republics, the state provides 98% of education services, regulating education through the Ministry of Education. Soviet spending on education has decreased from 5.6% of GDP to 5.4% of GDP in 2018, although the country remains one of the highest spenders as a percentage of GDP on Casaterra. Education in the Soviet Republics are generally considered to be more math and technically focused than southern and western education, particularly in comparison to the Organized States of Columbia.

School training the the Federation lasts 11 years, with an optional tertiary education for citizens. Education in state owned secondary schools is free, and first tertiary (university level) education is free for some citizens. Male and female students are present in equal levels at all stages of education. According to third party estimates, roughly 57% of Soviet adults have completed tertiary education, making the country second in Septentrion for highest rates of tertiary education.

Pre-school education

According to the 2002 census, 88% of children (96% urban and 72% rural) aged 5 were enrolled in kindergartens. Kindergartens are regulated by local and state officials, rather than by the federal government. While secondary schools are free, pre-school education often costs roughly 25% of it's cost to the parents, with the rest payed for by the state. Kindergarten in the Federation focuses on social skills, physical abilities, and preparation for the secondary school level.

Privately owned kindergartens, while not popular until the 90s, have been growing in the Federation. Most are run by the Orthodox Church, with some run by companies or individuals. Privately owned kindergartens, like other private schooling in the Federation, is both expensive and under strict watch by the government. Each school has to renew their license yearly, or be unable to teach students.
