The Meuser Model 1895, commonly known as the Estharian Meuser, is a bolt-action rifle developed by Emil Meuser for the Estharian Army as a method of correcting his previous Calvardian Meuser M1889. The rifle was also in service with other countries such as the Ruzhite Empire, the Archadian Empire, Holy Galbadian Empire, Dalmasca and Nabradia, and the Atlantic Federation. The M1895 introduced a short staggered-column box magazine that fit flush with the bottom of the stock. It held 5 rounds, which can be loaded with the use of a stripper clip.
The rifle itself was considered to be widely successful, which led to several rifles such as the M1897 Alterian Meuser, the Ilarian Meuser, and the Imperial Meuser Model 1898. Its lethality led to the Gallians developing their own Meuser-type rifle, which was the M1903 Theimer.
