Estivan (Solarian: Stephania), officially the Pure Republic of Estivan (Solarian: Respublica Paca Stephania), is a sovereign state located in southern Euclea. It is bordered by Etruria to the north on land, the Solarian Sea to the east, and the Mazdan Sea to the west. Estivan has a population of around 13.1 million people and encompasses an area of ? square kilometers.
Etymology
The name 'Estivan' is derived from the name of the Duchy of Stephania, which occupied the region of modern Estivan prior to its conquest by ???, and is in turn derived from the name of the area as the Solarian province of Stephania. The name was acquired in honor of Saint Stephen in the 4th century, and the province was previously known as ??? Minor due to it being a colony of the Ardashid Empire prior to Solarian conquest.
