Foreign Policy of the absolute royal federation

The foreign policy of the Absolute royal federation is carried out on order of the crown by the royal foreign relation advisory, the military high command and the military advisory. However so is it the royal foreign relation advisory that have the final say and guides the other parts of the absolute royal federation on these matters. It is also the foreign relation advisory that attaches diplomats to nations and more importantly is it the foreign relation that advises the high king on matters regarding foreign policy and according to court custom so cannot a nobleman interrupt a member of the advisory during a court debate.

The official policy of the absolute royal federation is to expand the federation and to promote monarchy and good values but it is not unknown for the court to look the other way when dealing with republics and even socialist nations for the better of the federation and it's continued survival.

Foreign Policy Aims

The main and longterm policy of the federation is the "world under the crowned eagle destiny" that decrees that it is destiny that the absolute royal federation shall rule the world and recently have there been debates if the moon and the nearby planets should be added to that goal. This goal is however rarely mentioned in court as it is a so long term goal and still far in the future.

As the day to day policies so are there three main goals, the first is the continued protection and safety of federal subjects both abroad and at home, the second is the continued spread of federal territory and culture and the third is to protect federal property abroad and the final is to if possible continue to fight as a champion of light and stand fast against darkness and evil when it is found.

To do this so have the absolute royal federation always strove after being a righteous nation promoting good values and to have a massive military force to back it up, something that recent defeats at the hands of highly technological enemy forces have proved to be a bit hard and most noteworthy was the victory in the defence of Sirmeria which proved to be a strategical disaster and resulted in much of the planned military hardware that were going to be used in an attack against Scarfell valley in crystal spires were utterly destroyed which forced the federation to withdraw from that conflict and concentrate on defending and rebuild their city.

Multilateral Organisations

The absolute royal federation have historically been very sceptical to multilateral organisations and they have generally been seen as something that without rights taking away or limit federal authority from both federal subjects in general but also the high king. There have however been a few exception to this and the most well known was the CoPS which the federation joined to protect ponies abroad. However in general did this exception proved to many noblemen and commoners alike to have been proof enough that the federation should stand alone since it ended with the federation being forced to leave despite what many saw as a outright extreme amount of resources and lives being wasted in CoPS related activities and later on lead to the invasion by the C'tan.

General policies

The absolute royal federation policy abroad involves securing favourable trade rights for the federation and to prevent genocide and horrid oppression. Further more so does the absolute royal federation try to promote Imerian culture and values abroad and when possible try to improve relations between itself and friendly powers.

The federation are often more friendly and have a higher opinion of nations ruled by a just monarch or "a real nation" as most federal subjects tends to look at them as. Further more so are societies without a totally planned economy seen in a brighter light and nations with good civil rights are often also seen as more popular ones. However organised slavery, governments that seems to work on the sole basis of maintaining power rather than govern as just and good rulers are looked at with distaste.

As for federal subjects so do most of them know Cantalvia as that place they defended during the abomination migration of 1538 and looks at them with pride in their chest. However despite that so does your average federal subject not know too much about them even if they have spawned many a "it is a square place" jokes.	Cantalvia views the Absolute Royal Federation with caution though they are extremely grateful to the Imerians for helping protect their nation Cantalvia has mixed feelings about monarchies and cannot help but wonder when Imeriata will call in favours.
	Crystal Spires Dragolmark The land of the dragol, Dragol comes from the word "D'rɑgolɛth"	None	None	Brothers at Arms with the Amistad Declaration	The absolute royal federation's general view of crystal spires is in general a ignorant one and the public mostly knows it as "That place with all the animals" or a nest of pirates and brutes. Officially though so is the federation still rather cold to the nation and sees it as a place of little importance more than a chance to win some fame and glory, however with the obvious exposed situation of the free city of Sirmeria so is it still in the federation's interest to stop the monsters at Scarfell and two alternatives are considered ideal by the federation. Either for the federation itself to improve the native forces ability to fend of further incursions from Scarfell or for the federation itself to take over the defence of the Vigil's Helm.	Spires's bilateral relations with Imeriata are fairly broken. There's much mistrust and rage with historical Imerian attempts at land grabbing, and their role in the strength of the slave trade, and support of Altean trade made Imeriata fairly high on the list of historically unfriendly nations. Spires called for an exalted march upon Imeriata many times, but the journey to Imeriata was perilous and the the Order of Idealists were often bogged down with war with Altea. After abolishing Slavery, there was a slight dampening in Spires's call for an exalted march, but many feel that there is no reason to believe the Imerians will hold their vow, given humanity's propensity to break deals with Hinnid's Order.

High Lord Sokar has called for the extermination of the Imeriatan Empire and its culture, so far to no avail.

However on the street so are people not too aware of them except as one of the factions involved in Crystal spires.	The Royal Union looks upon Imeriata favourably, and does so despite its anti-slaver stance. Even while a slaver state, the Royal Union traded with the Federation (much to the chagrin of its then and now allies), and it has recently upped its relationship by signing the Grynings Vägen treaty - in effect participating in a four-way regional alliance between Malgrave, The Freethinker Commonwealth and Imeriata. The man in the street is likely to know little about Imeriata itself, beyond a cursory 'it has a monarchy' and 'it is relatively friendly to us'.
