Ilia the Righteous, knwon as Ilia Kancheli, was a Pachulian Sabaphos Councillor that was a general within the Exile Army. Originally a K'vari Severibi of Guardian Rank, Ilia left the Second Order of K'vari after the release of the Adranasian Interpetation of Imedio Honour, and exiled himself to Pachulia after the exile of K'vari Severibi Bacuria Artaxiad. Unbeknownest to the Ardaasian Sabaphos, Ilia had helped author the Bacurian Interpretation of Imedio Honour.

Ilia Kancheli recieved the name "the Rightous" after the Battle of Serenope where parts of the Exile Army began targeting civilians despite orders from both Ilia and Artoces. Both Artoces Pormireba and the 23rd Exile Pormireba both got out of control within Serenope. After their occupation, Artoces was "overthrown" as the general of his Pormireba and the 23rd Exile Pormireba's commander took over. The looting and massacre of the civilians was stopped after Ilia struck down the commander and threatened to deem both Pormirebas as heretics to the Exile Army and would order them as enemies.

Ilia fought in every battle in the War of Exiles except for the Defense of High Senadon and the Battle of K'anama. Ilia afterwards began discourse from the Exile Army, particularily at Bacuria's incompetence as the commander of the army. During a meeting in Pachulia at the end of the war, the Second Order initiated the Storming of Pachulia. Ilia was killed as was the majority of the Pachulian Sabaphos that weren't killed during the war. He was stated to have been defending Borena of Homitians from several K'vari Severibi, however was overpowered and killed.
