The War of Exiles (Akannite: ⴂⴀⴃⴀⴑⴀⴞⴊⴄⴁუⴊⴇⴀ ⴍⴋⴈ; Gadasakhlebulta Omi) was a civil war fought by the Second Order of K'vari and the Exile Army that took place in the Akanovan Federal Territories. The War of Exiles was led mainly by the conflicting ideas of K'vari Orthodoxy and K'vari Reformism, held by the Levanite Sabaphos and the Pachulian Sabaphos, respectively. The War of Exiles involved political elements after the creation of the K'vari Liberal Coalition, which advocated against a full turn to K'vari Orthodoxy. The War of Exiles went on for three years and eight months, ending in the Storming of Pachulia.

The War of Exiles traces back to the Adarnasian Era, during the Adarnasian Sabaphos under Adarnase the Devoted. The release of the Bacurian Interpretation of Imedio Honour was published by Bacuria Artaxiad along with several other K'vari Severibi. Policies enacted under Adarnase had been significantly Reformist until 2279, when Levan Meshki became Metsnieri of the Order. A staunch proponent of K'vari Orthodoxy, Levan conflicted with both Adarnase and his K'vari Sabaphos Memk'vidre, Ierotias Kirion. After the death of Ierotias, Levan became the Memk'vidre, and promptly exiled those who helped Bacuria. The exile of Bacuria and those involved with the Bacurian Interpretation was considered an extreme, something done only during the era of the Seven Akannite Sages.

After the death of Adarnase and the rise of Levan as the K'vari Sabaphos Mepe, he began a strict reapproach to K'vari Orthodoxy. He based his interpretation on Pre-Timeless Era writings. He did not appoint a Metsnieri of the Order initially, believing that he did not require one. Rulings from Third Generation Maradisoba and Fourth Generation Maradisoba were considered invalid from his Levanite Interpretation of Imedio Honour, and held strict to First Generation Maradisoba and Second Generation Maradisoba. The release of his interpretation was extremely polarizing within the Levanite Sabaphos. He continued to rely less and less on the Levanite Sabaphos, until it was considered that he held almost all of the power within the Order. His actions led to the Great Exile of the Order in 2306, a mass exile of members who were firmly opposed to the idea of a return to K'vari Orthodoxy.

In 2311, after the end of the Colonial Vote of Calagains, the Exile Army attacked with a triple pronged formation based on Serenope. Caught completely off guard, the Battle of Serenope ended in a major victory for the Exile Army and the early onset death of K'vari Councillor Tvuari Urushadze. The destruction of K'vari forces within Serenope caused the Akanovan Federal Territories to issue and immediate evacuation of Mkhare Serenope. Serenope's loss early in the war dealt major damage to the faith within the Order from the Federal Territories and the government. President Ozurgeti Akhaltsikhe ordered the immediate deployment of the Akanovan Federal Protection Force within Imedio to prevent any further loss.

In 2312, the K'vari continued to be on the defensive, with Serenope having been occupied for nearly a year.
