Work at LBC
Kretschmann saw a need for a broadcast related to the military to be able to inform the public of the ongoing conflicts abroad, particularly giving news to soldiers who were returning hope. Thus, he created AF News Patrol and has ever since, served as the flagship news broadcast of LBC News.
Despite his duties, he was stationed in Joyonghea where he worked as an LBC Reporter for the events happening in Joyonghea. He would continue to anchor and report news through AF News Patrol. He reported the 1986 Gimhae International Airport bombing during which, he was stationed nearby and recorded the events with his own camera.
