Mesconia (Mescon: Meskonien), officially the Kingdom of Mesconia (Mescon: Kongeriget Meskonien) is one of three constituent nations of the Kingdom of Scovern. It has the largest population and economy of the three nations, and was historically the most powerful prior to Scovernois unification in the 16th century. The capital and largest city of Mesconia is Rimso, which also serves as the national capital. Mesconia's federal government is known as the Forsammling, currently governed by an LFP–Radicals coalition since 2019.

Mesconia encompasses most of the old realm of the Kingdom of Connland, an old marauder kingdom, which in medieval times was the most developed land in Scovern. The expansive Sixtenite Kingdom was based in the city in Istebjerg, also located in Mesconia. During the Late Middle Ages, Mesconia grew wealthy as a result of extensive trade with the Rudolphine Confederation and the Maritime Guild. Though it exercised dominance over Scovern's southern city-states for a sizable period of time, Rudolphine expansion into Scovern ended this. Mesconian kings eventually led the Scovernois unification process, which solidified its dominance among the states of the new kingdom.

Scovern's diplomatic isolation in the 17th century was beneficial to the influential mercantile guilds which still populated Mesconia, but the beginning of the Industrial Revolution brought end to mercantilism and established modern capitalism in its place. Cities like Lagerup and Torsagen grew extensively as a result of industrialisation in the 19th century, which drew in workers from across the country. In the post-war period, Mesconia was the centre of many of the government's investment boots, including new ports and infrastructure. Mesconia was defined as a federal entity in the 1960s, and in 1980 the Forsammling convened for its first session.

Of the three nations, Mesconia has the highest quality of life, life expectancy and real GDP per capita. Though its counterparts Vestelia and Frelland are beginning to move in line with it, its dominant economic position has been criticised, and has sometimes led to mild prejudice on Vestelians and Frellanders in the past, as well as Mesconian regionalism after federalisation. Mesconia is the destination for the majority of Scovern's immigration, particularly the city of Rimso.
