Miró Jacinto Aradan PA (born 14 February 1959) is a Carlosian politician and Zararcian nationalist who has served as Chief Minister of Zararcia since 4 July 2017. He is also the current President of Líga Zararcía. Since becoming Chief Minister in 2017, he has actively pursued an antagonistic policy in regards to cooperation with the central government. Though National Salvation won a plurality of seats in the Provincial Assembly, Aradan and Líga Zararcía have governed as part of a cordon sanitaire majority coalition with the Socialist Republicans and Democratic Party. The breakdown in relations between Amarda and Madrigal has accelerated since the 2021 arrest and subsequent conviction for corruption of the Commissioner of the Zararcia Police, Corazón Bosque, in a joint raid by the National Police and Carlosian Army. Aradan has repeatedly threatened to hold an independence referendum for Zararcia, though near universal legal opinion is that such a move would be unconstitutional.
