The Nassau Union (Dutch: Nassau Unie, German: Nassau Union, Scanonian: Nassauunionen, Latin: Unio Nassoviensis) was a personal union in Lorecia between the three kingdoms of Nidwalden, Noordenstaat and Scanonia. It was founded in 1371 under King Albert II and was dissolved in 1718 following a series of events that were sparked by the Bruningen port incident. The countries subject of the union legally remained sovereign states, whilst their foreign and domestic policies were directed by a joint monarch.
