Niu Kim-Limin (born July 15, 1983) is a Gangkou-Zamastanian doctor and politician serving as a senator for Gangkou's 2nd district since 2016. A member of the Green Liberal Party and one of only two Gangkou politicians serving in the senate, she co-chairs the Foreign Affairs committee. Niu rose to prominence following her election to the senate for having led efforts to amend the navy's enforcement policies against sexual assault. Niu has prioritized legislation related to consumer protection and tenants rights as well as advocating for increased funding for public housing, and has consistenly voted to expand legal protections for abortion providers, gun control groups, and combatting climate change.

Niu is a staunch advocate against Yuaneze claims over Gangkou and regularly calls for freedom of speech in Yuan, which has listed her among many Zamastanian politicians sanctioned by the Yuaneze government. Niu was personally cited by Chairman Xi Jingyi in 2019 as being a "traitor to the motherland". When Qin Chen rose to power in 2022, Niu was once again cited as a "dishonorable deciever".

Early life and education

Born and raised in the city of Xianghua on Gangkou, Niu is the eldest of three children. Her mother worked as a registered nurse and hospital administrator while her father worked as a materials science engineer. Her mother also worked as an assistant director of environment, safety, and health in the Gangkou public administration.
