Rean Schwarzer (18 August 1998) is an Erebonian cadet, and later soldier who fought in the later stages of the Imperial Crisis alongside Task Force 142.

The biological son of the late Erebonian Prime Minister, Giliath Osbourne, Rean would not find out the truth about his father until in the later stages of the Erebonian Civil War, in which Osbourne used Kiriya and Task Force 141 and 142 to further his ambitions of annexing the Crossbell State and invading the Republic of Calvard, something which many allied leaders disagreed on. Rean was one of the frontliners of Class VII, in which he led the Thors Military Academy Regiment contingent. During the War of the Commons, he was able to put an end to Osbourne's ambitions as the two faced in a sword fight to the death. Following this event, TF142 was disbanded following the graduation of the cadets. He and the rest of 142 were transferred to TF 141 as reservists. Rean is one of 142's cadets who became squad leaders in the new set of TF 141 members.

He would later serve with distinction during the Chalcedonic War up to the Deseleni War. He later carried the duties of being the Executive Officer and Adjutant for Colonel Naoto Kitagawa.
