Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII (21 May 1950 - 15 June 2008) was King of the United Kingdom and Dominions of the Lucis Commonwealth from 5 June 1970 until his death. He is the 8th head of the Commonwealth. He is the longest reigning Lucis Monarch in the modern era; Having ruled for over 35 Years and was considered to be the man capable of maintaining peace among nations. His rule was considered to be the peaceful years due to him maintaining peaceful terms with many Imperial nations. He also contributed the biggest in Asianna to strengthen relations with the Association of Asianna Nations, consisting of the Democratic Empire of Quenmin, The Kingdom of Joyonghea and the Monarchial Republic of Bethausia. After his death, The terms were forgotten and the world would plunge again into another world war. He was assassinated in 2008, causing the Second Lucis Civil War and the road to the Imperial Crisis. He was succeeded by his son, Noctis Lucis Caelum after Regius had been disinherited for plotting to take the throne and eventually died during the Second Lucis Civil War.

When the King was assassinated, Many correctly predicted that the King's influence had maintained peace around the world and that it would be only a matter of time before that peace was broken.
