The Royal Stefáner Rifle Regiment is one of the three Regular Force infantry regiments of the Royal Jutland-Gimli Army of the Jutland-Gimli Armed Forces. Prior to the Second Europan War, the regiment was known as the 45th Justlandish Light Regiment. The regiment is famous for having adopted a Jutlandish forest bear named Stefán (1940-1990) in its ranks during the Second Europan War. The bear served with distinction during a Jutlandish artillery barage that in 1941, General Erik John Vandemeer ordered the regiment be named after the bear, and having the bear as its mascot. The members were taken in to Vandemeer's order that they sewn shoulder flashes on their uniforms with Stefán in it.

Stefán would serve with the regiment well through the War of Lorican Aggression until his death in 1990. In honour of him, the regiment services Jutlandish forest bears in its formation, having to tame them before putting them in service. The regiment celebrates 19 March as Stefáner Day, where the regiment parades down in Gimli City with visitors free to pet the bears.
