Saint John is a seaport city in the Zamastanian province of Northern Isle, located on the shore of Horseshoe Bay between the cities of Horseshoe Bay to the south and Lower Tariel to the north. The city has a population of around 309,000, making it the fourth-most populous city in the province. The city is a regional center for healthcare and education, servicing many institutes of higher learning and three major hospitals including Saint John Center Hospital. The city hosts a number of musical and artistic exhibits and festivals, which contribute to its tourism industry, but its economic activity is centered on education, medical research, insurance, and information technology.
