Sophie Webb-Lancaster (born October 13, 1958) is a Zamastanian politician serving as the Mayor of Tofino. Born and raised in Tofino, Webb-Lancaster graduated from the University of Tofino and worked on Josiah Elliott's 1986 presidential campaign. She worked as a campaign coordinator for the Green Liberal Party throughout the 1980s and 90s until she pursued her own political office and was elected to the Congress Chamber in Congressional Hall to represent Zian's 11th district from 2000. She declined to run in 2008, instead campaigning for her eventual successor Alisha Fletcher. Despite having vowed to remain out of politics, Webb-Lancaster ran for mayor of Tofino in 2021 when Bryan Donaldson decided not to seek reelection. She won with 68.6% of the vote, becoming the first female mayor in the city's history.
