Torland (Andish: Táland, pronounced ['tʰa:utlant]), officially the Republic of Torland, is a nation on the Lhedwinic archipelago in north-western Asura. Torland is the northernmost country on the mainland of Lhedwin, making up most of north-eastern Lhedwin as well as several hundred smaller islands north of the region. Torland borders Andmark to the west and Navack to the south, as well as sharing maritime borders with Aleia and Newrey. Torland has an area of Xkm2 (Xmi2), making it the largest country in Lhedwin by land area. Its capital, Aubak, is the second largest city in Lhedwin behind Berke, with a metropolitan population of around 3 million in 2018. Torland has a population of 11.7 million (as of 2020), making it the second most populous country in Lhedwin.

Torland ranks 18th in nominal GDP, and is often regarded as one of Asura's strongest economies, as well as having one of the world's highest nominal GDP per capita. Often regarded as one of the most socially, environmentally and economically advanced countries in the world, Torland is known for its expansive welfare state and mixed economic systems. It ranks highly in social freedoms, social liberties, minority rights, LGBT rights, democratic indexes and human development.
