The University of Talox (Amalfitan: Universitas Talocis) is a university in Talox, Amalfi. It is the second oldest of the five ancient universities of Amalfi, founded in 843, and is also the largest.
Historically, the university was strongly oriented towards mathematics and natural philosophy. In the Enlightenment it developed into a major scientific and engineering university and is now also major centre for fields such as electronic engineering and particle physics.
