Vaatseland would remain an Atmoran protectorate until the start of the Vozksk Uprising in 1911 until 1913 when Alexandria recognised Vozhsk indepedence from Atmora.

Law and administration

Since the Lieseltanian Conquest in the First Voshan War in 1721. The highest Lieseltanian authority resided with the 'Council of State of Vosha'. The Governor-General served as the viceregal representative to the monarch of Lieseltania and Chairman of the Council of State of Vosha. Additionally the Governor-General served as commander-in-chief of the Voshan Militia and Voshan Colonial Marechaussee.

In 1897 under Governor-General Lord Mollenhorst devolved some of his legislative authority to the Volksraad. The Volksraad was an advisory council to the Governor-General. The Council comprised 50 elected Atmoran members, 20 elected Voshan members, and 15 appointed members. While the Volksraad could debate and vote upon some issues, most executive power was still held in the hands of Governor-General and the Colonial Minister in Alexandria.
