Yenaryn' is a Syaran city located in Scitaria. It is situated on the Maqo River and is home to 104,860 inhabitants.
Yenaryn was first founded sometime during the 6th Century BCE by the Myrkelli, a tribe known for its piracy. They were conquered by the Makedonian Empire under Orestes II and remained part of the Empire for its duration. The settlement was raided by Vikings from Æþurheim in 861 CE. During the Rioni Union the area was used as a source of lumber for ships built in Vechad. During the era of the Syaran Successor States Yenaryn was utilized by the Scitarian Commonwealth for sailing barges into the Sanguine Sea. As part of the Republic of Syara, Yenaryn was used as an observation post for the Navy of the Syaran Republic. During the Refusal War the city was used as a staging ground for Warden sky watch. In modern times the lumber and fishing industries remain the predominant economic sectors, while the Mako Dam provides power to much of the Myscian Peninsula through substations in the city.
