Yukari Kitagawa (21 April 1996) is an Army Officer currently serving in the Lucis Army. She is the eldest daughter of Kiriya Kitagawa and Aurelia Le Guin. She is particularly close with her eldest brother, Yamato Kitagawa, who taught her to sometimes question their parents, something which Yukari could not do.
After Yamato was exiled, she went against her father's instruction not to join into army life and enlisted in the Lucis Army. Considered to be one of the top female operatives, her father considered her enlistment. She is also fond of her younger sister, Katsuragi, who also enlisted but was assigned only to the ATS. She is a closet lesbian.
