The Zamastan Women's Soccer League (ZWSL) is a professional Zamastanian soccer association consisting of 16 teams divided equally into the Western Conference (ZWSL) and the Eastern Conference (ZWSL). The ZWSL is one of the world's several professional women's soccer associations and the largest in Zamastan. The ZWSL's regular season runs from early May to late January, with each team playing 32 games. Most games are played on Thursday or Friday afternoons, with occasional weekend evening fixtures. Following the conclusion of the regular season, eight teams (four from each division) advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the ZWSL Cup, which is usually held in February and is played between the last standing playoff teams. Additionally, teams within the league compete internationally in the Euronia Football Confederation. The best players the league are selected annually to play in the Women's World Cup on the Zamastan women's national football team. The national team is the most prolific winning team in the Women's World Cup's history, qualifying for 24 of 29 tournaments and winning three.
