The Alexandria-Prussia Central Employees' Retirement System (CERS) is the retirement system for employees within the Alexandria-Prussia central government. The system provides retirement and related benefits for those employed by the executive, judicial and legislative branches, independent agencies, and universities (owned by APHES) supported by the central government of Alexandria-Prussia. CERS is both the largest public retirement system in Alexandria-Prussia in both membership and assets and the largest public pension fund in Alexandria-Prussia. The agency is headquartered at 1000 Red River Street in the capital city of Austin.

A Board of Trustees governs the retirement system. The Board is composed of nine trustees who are appointed to staggered terms of six years. Three trustees are direct appointments of the Minister-President. Two trustees are appointed by the Minister-President from a list prepared by the judicial and legislative branches. Two trustees are appointed by the Minister-President from active member currently within the system. One trustee is appointed by APHES members and one trustee is appointed by the Minister-President who weas nominated by retired CERS members.

The Executive Director of TRS is Martin M. Hernández. The budget requested for the 2020-21 is $4.8 billion APD
