Anyuaa comes from the Polaja word for free. The first use of the word to describe the country came in April 2024 from Husani Antar during his government-in-exile in New Altai, where he referred to Feyt Ayat controlled territory saying "Anyuaa has made its name heard." Following the Tuim Accords, much debate was had over the name of the newly independent state, with names like Taman and Boya floated as notable ethnic representations. However, due to the deeply-held secular divisions in the territory, a neutral yet encompassing word was agreed to, and Anyuaas prominence as a rallying cry for pro-democracy demonstrators throughout the course of the conflict had pressed its popularity. | |||

Anyuaa, formally known as the Republic of Anyuaa, is a country in south Adula bordered by Zalluabed, Albarine, Togaria, and Hisrea. The capital is Kurdajar, and other notable cities include Tuim, Tifranjah, Naftadi, Dueifa, and Jerbira. Anyuaa gained independence from Zalluabed in July 2024, as a result of the Tuim Accords which settled fighting between Feyt Ayat and the Zakaraban-led government. Former-Zalluabedi president Husani Antar, who had been ousted in a coup the year prior, was named acting-president upon the signing of the Accords. While the country is effectively independent, and is recognized as such by multiple nations, it has yet to be formally recognized by the Coalition of Crown Albatross.
Etymology
Anyuaa comes from the Polaja word for free. The first use of the word to describe the country came in April 2024 from Husani Antar during his government-in-exile in New Altai, where he referred to Feyt Ayat controlled territory saying "Anyuaa has made its name heard." Following the Tuim Accords, much debate was had over the name of the newly independent state, with names like Taman and Boya floated as notable ethnic representations. However, due to the deeply-held secular divisions in the territory, a neutral yet encompassing word was agreed to, and Anyuaa's prominence as a rallying cry for pro-democracy demonstrators throughout the course of the conflict had pressed its popularity.
