Aeiavision Song Contest 2018 was a song competition held in Aeia 25th May 2018. The competition will take place in Elenaborg, Aleia, following the Rising Heroes' win in 2017. Most official events related to the contest, including the grand final, occurred at Alemin Arena in Elenaborg. The event was won by Navack, represented by Nomads of Summer with their song "Winter Sound."

19 countries participated in the contest. Although Newrey had participated in earlier competitions, it withdrew in 2018 due to the Folksland Crisis. Salborga withdrew for undisclosed reasons, although its broadcaster SE1 confirmed participation in 2019.

Location

Venue

The contest was hosted at Alemin Arena in Elenaborg, the reserve stadium of the Aleian national football team, which has a capacity of 62,000 people. It was the first time both the city and the stadium hosted an Aeiavision event.

Bidding

Aleia's main broadcasting organization IAB held both a public debate and an internal discussion on the venue prior to the decision to hold it at Elenaborg. The capital Oralienborg, which had hosted similar events before and had venues with a larger capacity, was also considered, as well as the city of Vaha. All three cities that were considered made a bid. The decision of making Elenaborg the host was made in November 2017.
