Edviná Karola Molnár (Ruvelkan: Ìúụǐṵí Űiṷīłí Ṳīłṵiṷ; IPA: /ɛdvinɒ kɒrolɒ molnaːr/; born 19 April 1981) is a Ruvelkan politician who served as the sixteenth Chancellor of Ruvelka’s Federal Assembly and is the current Grand Principality’s Minister of Defense. She is best known for her role in leading Ruvelka during the Zemplen War as well as managing the reconstruction, economic, and diplomatic efforts that followed in the conflict’s aftermath. Although a long term proponent of the Ruvelkan military, Edviná had also been a strong supporter of a diplomatic solution to the Zemplen question even during ongoing militarization of the nation’s border with Syara. Ruvelka’s victory directly contributed to the RPA’s resounding successes in the 2010 Ruvelkan Federal Election. Despite her popularity, Edviná declined to seek re-election as leader of the Ruvelkan Progressive Alliance during its biennial leadership election in 2012 and as Chancellor in 2013. She was later appointed as Minister of Defense by her successor, Elsa Szekeres, following the 2013 Election.
Childhood to Current Life
Edviná was born Edviná Karola Molnár in Albertirsa, the largest of Ruvelka’s closed cities located on the border with Syara, to Rebeka Molnár, a nuclear physicist, and Amiran Botkoveli, an electrical engineer. She is Ruvelkan on her mother’s side and Karvelebi on her father’s side. An only child, Edviná was affectionately known by her parents and peers as “Vina” and continues to be known as such within her personal circles. Despite residing within a closed city, Edviná and her parents often traveled to Aszód to visit her mother’s extended family and Sagerejo to visit her family on her father’s side; as a result Edviná developed very close ties with much of her extended family.
Education
She attended Albertirsa’s primary school for most of her youth. At the age of 13, her parents sent her to attend a boarding school in Aszód where she took on a keen interest in aviation, graduating with high marks in academics in 1987. Afterward, she applied for and was accepted into the Aszód Institute of Technical Aviation. Edviná was known for her proficiencies in physics and mathematics and earned several awards. She also learned to speak German fluently, spent several semesters studying in Acrea, and was exceptionally proficient in speaking and reading Syaran. During her time at the Institute, Edviná also became familiar with her Karvelebi heritage and its ties to then-disputed Zemplen Region of neighboring Syara. Edviná graduated in 2001 at the top of her class with a degree in advanced avionics engineering.
Military Service
In July 2001, Edviná joined the Imperial Air Force to fulfill her mandatory military service requirement. She was sent to the RIAF’s base at Sátoraljaújhely deep in the Matra Mountains where she was initially trained to fly Cacertian-built Spettro strategic bombers. However, she later found her calling in piloting HH1 helicopter gunships. Following training, she returned to Albertirsa where she was stationed with the RIAF’s Special Air Service. She later participated in the brief five-day Imerti Conflict against the neighboring Commonality of Syara. As a member of the SAS, Edviná was one of only a handful of helicopter pilots that participated in direct combat operations against Syara and she has cited her experiences in the Imerti Conflict as important in her development of a long-term strategy during the Zemplen War. Edviná spent her entire military career with the Special Air Service and was honorably discharged from the Imperial Air Force in 2004 at the rank of Captain.
Early Political Career
Leader of the Progressive Alliance
Chancellor of Ruvelka

Personal Life
Edviná met her future husband, Roland Vörös, while studying at AITA. Although the two dated, they went their separate ways following their graduations; Edviná joining the Imperial Air Force and Roland joining the Imperial Army. The two subsequently met again in 2005 and rekindled their relationship, later marrying in 2007. Edviná and Roland have one daughter, Kamilla. Despite her highly published exploits following the Zemplen War, the details of Edviná’s personal life outside of the name of her husband and daughter have been kept private.
Edviná and her family are known to be practicing Vilageians and have often been seen participating in Vilageian traditions. She and her family currently reside in a nondescript home in the suburbs of Debrecen.
