A Secret is a 1999 Satavian epic romance film directed and written by Daniël Jaco. The film tells the story of an unlikely relationship formed across class divides in poverty-stricken Satavia in 1900, and stars James Bonnett as Ryan O'Connor and Alissa Scott as Violet Montague.

Production for the film began in late 1997, and filming lasted until late 1998. The film was released in September 1999 at the Montecara Film Festival to critical acclaim, and won the Béco aùreo at the festival. It also won multiple other awards, including several at the Satavian Choice Awards and the Asterian Film Awards. It was released in Satavia and internationally in early October, and grossed nearly €40 Million on it's opening weekend.

The film has become one of the most prominent examples of the Romance Epic genre, and is the highest-grossing Satavian film ever made, in addition to being one of the highest-grossing films of all time. It was selected for preservation in the Satavian Library as a piece of cultural significance. As of March 2021, it is the only film in the Satavian Library's preservation archives.
