Akan R. Khalfani is a Seran politician, former soldier, and conservative advocate who served as the Mayor of Ngai, Governor of Mwindo, and as the 51st Prime Minister of the United States of Sera from 2020 to 2022. He was born in the capital city of Jakesh, Ngai, a small but prosperous city located in Sera's southern portion. His parents were both well-respected doctors and routinely advocated for "traditional Seran values" and the "preservation of conservatism and tradition", and they instilled in him a strong sense of justice and public service from a young age.
Akan excelled in high school as he took his studies extremely seriously. Upon graduation he chose to enlist into the Seran Royal Army to complete his required service and decided to attend a prestigious university in the north of the United States of Sera. However, he would transfer shortly thereafter to the University of Ngai where he studied political science and international relations and minored in Law.
