The Latinius Party, also known as LP, is one of the four authorized, contemporary political parties in the United States of Sera, along with its main historic rivals, The Mbaku Party and The Sakhile Party, and ally The Koga Party. The Latinius party, like other Seran political parties, was formed out of the original tribes on June 7th, 1741 when the Confederation of Seran Tribes officially became the United States of Sera. The beliefs of the Latinius center around corporate tax reform and control, environmental protection, support for organized labor, expansion of social programs, elimination of the caste system, criminal justice reform, equal opportunity for the casteless, and consumer protection. On social issues, it caste system reform or elimination, immigration reform, and greater supports for those at the bottom of society. However, the party rallies against lax gun laws, Sera's mercenary program and PMC laws, environmental destruction, and the use of capital punishment. Usually, membership in the Latinius party are those living in Sera's western, more developed and urbanized territories and particularly among those who are currently serving in Sera's bureaucratic or civilian Caste. Members of the Latinius are typically younger, more educated Serans than usual and draw a large member base from colleges and universities.
