The Hiblundiiun Football Association is the governing body for football in Hiblund. With this being said, the HFA takes very little responsibility for creating new leagues in Hiblund, which has taken its toll with the Sciedfelt Stretch, but instead focuses on regulating leagues so that they don't get out of hand as well as managing the national teams. Likewise, the HFA has had very poor management, which led the Harletical Fiutvel Iede to go out of hand, but has slowly improved over the years to what we see today.
Regulations
As previously mentioned, the HFA has very little influence on the major club football leagues of the nation. Private owners are competing against other private owners to own the majority of clubs, as by HFA states, "Any group can acquire any clubs that do not go against our standards, and can also host any event related to the sport". The major football leagues and systems, the current one being the Shodiax League System, have to keep their fans happy, because it's pretty much a free market and they still have to persuade their audience to keep with the current system.
On the contrary, the HFA has almost all of the control over the national teams. It organizes friendlies, stadiums, tickets, really almost everything. Players, however, does require a pass by the Shodiax System, as almost all the players they pull for the team come from this league. Players are by no means forced to play for the national team, unless it is put into a contract by a club, which is extremely rare. The same goes for the women's team, but instead of with the Shodiax, it is with the Kerlastik Women's Football System, and has notably less popularity.
