The Harletical Fiutvel Iede was the establishing football league for Hiblund from 1891 to when Frarstizk gained independece, in 1946. Hiblund currently uses the Shodiax Piruen Iede as the nation's football league, and Frarstizk with its Frarstizk A Liig Dofriɣ. Both of these leagues took some time to establish, for reasons you can read about in the Sciedfelt Stretch. This league proved to be relevant, as its major league starts out with 18 teams, and expands in 1904 to 22 teams, although decreases to 20 once Riponzal and Yenvelaaɣians drop out for budget reasons. Overall, however, competition was quite one-sided, having Antres FC, SV Vovilveante, Boylinaruɣaun FC, VfL Neu Volfsburɣ, Sporting Maegnitersburg, and SC Bernital (aka Unien Bernital) being on another skill level than the rest, altogether winning nearly all of the championships. However, this certainly did not give the other teams no purpose, as those "unimportant" games still provided much history, and even some of the "lesser" teams had brought on great streaks which lead them to an unexpecting place in the table. The seasons consisted of only 20 games, increased to 21 in 1904. This was also considered a system, as there were major and minor leagues, however there were no namely difference between the league and system, hence some confusion.

History

Before this league was designed, there was no football league that was cross-regional in Hiblund, as football's rules themselves were clarified only a few years before the league's founding. In 1889, Karr Harletical, a once successful businessman with a love for the sport, funded his own football league, which was planned to include clubs from all provinces This immediately aroused popularity throughout clubs in the nation, with immediate signers being SV Vovilveante, Thres Sprevin, 1.Sprevin Vintvenxva, SC Bernital, Tintianto SC, Atletisk Eamni, and SC Suzell. However, after a full years, they had a total of 18 teams in the league. The league fully came into play on September 19th, 1890.

The league had a good amount of revenue coming in, and matches were pretty eventful. In 1904, the demand for entrance into the league was much higher and forced the Harletical Iede into adding the number of clubs from 18 to 22, as well as including a secondary league, which consisted of 14 teams and no possible way to promote into the main league. Although this temporarily made fans happy, a relegation system was slowly becoming more and more of a vital request. The highly funded teams were pulling away from the rest of the pack, and the less funded were forced to stay at the bottom of the league.

Although the promises of success in relegation were undeniable, the executives refused to change the system, stating in the year 1921, "There is still no real issue here, if these clubs [at the bottom] are truly professional, they will find a way to put themselves to the top again. To furthermore back my claim, a switch in clubs would make cultural significance to their teams when booted out of their league. We will not change unless we believe that the teams in the secondary league are truly capable of competing in the main league. In the meantime, have fun watching the good teams go at it." The Harletical Iede never brought up the issue again, despite the fans continuing to complain.

The main league would be shortened of competitors in both 1929 and 1936, with two clubs wither folding or joining different leagues due to issues with their budgets. This, of course, sent more of a push for an actual system to the main office. Instead of correcting the obvious flaw, they only decided to expand how many teams where in the system, if you want to call it that, and never even mentioned the topic, as said before. This sent fans into complete disrespect for the league, many even boycotting to pay any attention to the league at all.

In an attempt to bring relegation to Hiblund's football systems, a competitor by the name of the Aulibech Fiutvel Retlevatschi Iede Zyntri[1] rose up underneath the Harletical's fame in the year 1932 in response to Fietvelslaag Ripoznal's folding. Despite the good intent, it was not able to surpass the Harletical Iede in any category other than common sense, and was forced to fold four years later because of very little advertising. No clubs from the Harletical relocated to the Aulibech for sake of popularity and no one starting the movement.

With all these attempts to debunct the Harletical, the league never publicized their struggles with their money, until it was already coming to an end.

Folding

Many executives and die-hard fans of the Harletical try to convince that the reason for their folding is only because of Frarstizk's Independence, and although that was certainly going to debunct the league anyway, exposed documents from the headquarters of the organization state that they would officially fold in 1950 due to their budget, or lack thereof, if things didn't get a drastic change. With the fear of going into even deeper debt that they already had, they had no instict to push the league through advertisements or any other way, and rather see what events take place and hope for the best.

Despite these issues, Hiblund let the territory of Frarstizk go after a language and civil rights dispute. Hiblund and Frarstizk both decided that the best way to keep peace and independence when regarding football is to split up and abandon the old league. Instead, the winners of both leagues would play each other in the Assilic Ciumervaii, as requested by fans and governments alike. One day after this took place, the Harletical Iede officially folded on July 19th, 1946, leaving the organization hopeless to pay off their debts[2]. After this was done, the main football league in Hiblund was undecided for seven straight years, and this span was given the name of the Sciedfelt Stretch.
