The Oriental Yen (symbol: ¥; ISO code: ORY; referred to as the Yen, Oriental Yen), is the official currency of the Orientia. The name itself taken from the word '円' or 'en', which literally means 'round coin' in japanese. The Coinage Act of 2043 officially introduced the Oriental Yen and authorized the minting of coins denominated in artos and cents. Union banknotes are issued in the form of Oriental Bank Notes, popularly called brownies due to their predominantly brown color.

Oriental Yen is one of the most traded currency in the world, second to Amenrian Cicis. As of April 24 2048, currencly circulation amounted to ORY$3.10 trillion, ORY3.05 of which is in Oriental Banknotes (the remaining ORY50 billion is in the form of coins).
