Akram Sulaiman (born November 12th, 1948) is an Emmirian statesman and politician who currently serves as the 31st President of Emmiria. He was also a lawyer, academic, former diplomat and Islamic cleric. Prior to holding office, he was the Minister of Trade and Commerce from 2016 to 2021, and the Secretary General of the Moderate Progressive Party from 2013 to 2016. He succeeded Khayahad al-Azari upon his resignation in 2021. In domestic policy, he encourages personal freedom and free access to information, has improved women's rights by appointing female foreign ministry spokespeople, and has been described as a centrist and reformist who has improved Emmiria's diplomatic relations with other countries.

Sulaiman has been a divisive figure in international politics. His administration has been lauded for successes in greater economic cooperation with the Trans Adula Fair Commerce Accord, as well as brokered historic agreements with the Slavic Union and Kossmil, as well as expanding Emmiria's involvement in WEDA and pushing for firm stances against ACWAC amidst the Brau Sea crisis and Haduastan War. He has taken criticism for his handling of the refugee crisis in Southern Adula, the Rabiyadin nuclear accident, and his reversal of policies on the Yuaneze government during the Jinchon Sea crisis.

Sulaiman was reelected to a second term in 2023, defeating Mohammad Raisi, though the Conservative Party gained a majority in the Consultative Assembly.
