The federal government of Besmenia is the national government of the Federal Republic of Besmenia and exercises executive power at federal level. The Besmenian federal government consists of the Prime Minister, the Vice Prime Minister and the Federal Ministers.
The seat of the federal government is in the Besmenian federal capital Laitstadt. The government has leverage in the legislature because it can introduce bills in the Federal Chamber and comment on bills in the Federal Senate.
Appointment
The Federal Government is appointed by the Federal President, although he is not bound by any legal requirements when appointing the Prime Minister. When appointing the other members of the federal government, he is dependent on the proposal of the Prime Minister (although he can refuse the appointment). Once appointed and sworn in, the government is immediately fully operational.
