In 1868 Remot published Les Paguinots. By 1870 he had fled the Empire of Lunderfrau after a warrant for his arrest was issued. He ended up settling in Mèronie where we was able to witness first hand the Second Mèronie Revolution. Both inspired and disgruntled by the works of Fabien Robiquet Remot started writing numerous political texts which were smuggled into the Duchies of Vich and Ester which outlined the need to create the new nation of Guinst for the Guinot people between the Vesil and Kesil rivers and it's republican nature.
