"Here in the north" (Ostric: Tu na nordacë; Navish: Her i norden) is the unofficial anthem of Ostry.

History

The first draft of "Here in the north" came from Ostric nationalist Kasper Olhouser, who wrote the lyrics during the Navish Revolution and the short existence of the de facto independent Ostric Republic. Although the republic fell and was re-absorbed into Navack in mid-1921, Olhouser's lyrics, set to what some historians attest as a 19th century Lhedwinic march, became popularized in the Ostric diaspora and nationalist community as a prominent symbol of Ostry.

In 1994, there was discussion over making the anthem official in the newly-established national territory, but it was shelved and the anthem remains unofficial. Today, "Here in the north" is popular among sports clubs, separatist circles, and the Ostric diaspora on mainland Navack.
