The M39 Nagant Rifle or commonly known as the Balambian Nagant is the Balambian version of the East Europan M1891 Nagant. It was produced initially from the M24 Nagant Model and was the first Balambian rifle to be produced. Mostly used by Balambian units, it also served throughout the Estharian Armed Forces.
The Balambian M39 Nagant rifle came with its first form as the M27 Balambian Nagant and the M28 and M28/30 Balambian Nagant rifle. The M39 became the final Balambian Nagant variant and was considered as the variant with the highest quality when it came to M1891 Nagant rifles. Several improvements were made, such as the cocking system, the sights, and the mechanism of the weapon such that it was easier to cock and fire. It was also less prone to jamming than the regular Nagant rifle. It became the mainstay of the Balambian Defence Force until the 1960s, when it was replaced by the RG LAG.
