"Sono Shoujo"
In Magia Regnum
On becoming of age Magians can sign a contract, if they have the potential, and be infused with the power of the Ōrumaiti becoming fully fledged Mahou Shoujo (Magian: 魔法少女; Magical Girl) and retain a permanent right to be one. However, due to her temperament and poor attitude Mitsue was denied the right of becoming a full magical girl within Magian society to which she was very resentful of. However, Mitsue was offered a contract from a mysterious being that she later identified as the Sonohoka Hantei, however it was too late to retract as Mitsue had handed over her magical item which was twisted and infused inside her turning her into what Magians refer to as a "Sono Shoujo." Initially agonized and regretful over her actions, she soon became determined to fix herself.
Initially a resident of Narazaki where she was grew up, Mitsue lived in the back alleys and slums after initially being discovered before she was forced to flee from Magia urban life after being pursued by the Seigi Kaikan after which she then killed several sentinels that persued her with her new-found powers.
