The Imperial Security Council was setup and established by the President of the 2nd Session of the Emperor's Law Council on December 19th, 2022 upon approval and direction of Emperor Conall Solis. It was formed as a semi-agency of the Emperor's Law Council, with the President of the Council having direct and full control over it. No law or official order established the council, but it is under discussion to have one drafted. The Imperial Security Council of the Empire Of Makko Oko is a consultative body and commission of the Emperor's Law Council that deals with national security affairs and matters of strategic interest. The council has no authority to enforce any decision, ruling or report that it makes, however, it may propose and send recommendations, changes to laws and also propose the addition of new laws. The council is composed of top state officials and heads of defense and security agencies, in addition to court judges and it is chaired by the Director of the National Security Service. The ISC acts as a forum for coordinating and paving national security policy.
