The Coalition Baseball Classic (abbreviated as CBC, or sometimes, The Classic) is an annual international baseball tournament which alternates host nations and consists of 32 teams in elimination games competing for the championship. The national teams feature professional players from the major leagues around the world, including Zamastan Baseball League. In addition to providing a format for the best baseball players in the world to compete against one another while representing their home countries, the World Baseball Classic was created in order to further promote the game around the globe. Northern Cantalle Islands nations are overwhelmingly the best performers in the tournament; Janapa is the most prolific team in the tournament, having won 7 tournaments. The next prolific teams are Zamastan and Ossinia (4); Drambenburg, Saint Astaba and Beck, and Rio Palito (3); Lower Aseu and East Chanchajilla (2).
