Succession to the Gelonian throne is determined by descent, gender, legitimacy, and religion. Succession is governed by the Constitution of Gelonia , which established the Monarchy of Gelonia utilizing the male-preference cognatic primogeniture succession laws of the House of Rouanti. The Constitution restricts succession to legitimate descendants of Arthur Rouanti, Duke of Lannionna (Arthur X in pretence) that are members of the Church of Gelonia.

King Arthur XI is the sovereign, and his heir presumptive is Lena, Princess Royal.

Current line of succession

First six in line from 2 December 2019

2. Prince Arthur, Duke of Oxonia
3. Princess Rimoete of Meud
4. The Electress of Nyrundy Alaina of Gelonia.jpg
5. Princess Genovefa of Gelonia Katherine McNamara - November 2014 (cropped).jpg
6. The Hereditary Princess of Montgisard Riona of Gelonia.jpg

Below is the current line of succession as maintained by the Gelonian Genealogy Society, including descendants of Arthur Rouanti, Duke of Lannionna (claimed as Arthur X; great-great grandfather of the present king). Though some individuals included below are not currently in communion with the Church of Gelonia, house law affords the opportunity to enter communion before being passed over in succession.
