Mission Obelisk (25 April - 15 May 1943) was a Commando operation that took place at the town of Adanti. The operation was carried out by the Special Parachute Service I with the intent of rendering the town impassable to prevent Imperial reinforcements from opening a new route to the Concordian region, and also preventing the installation of Imperial operations in the region. Adanti was a vital town, given that it gave the Imperials a new route to the Concordian border, as well as to the nearby civilian port of San Velasco, which was intended to be turned into a military naval port should the Imperials be able to take the town.

The success prevented the Imperials from increasing its strength in the Northern Archadian regions, as well as rendering the Imperial Navies to rely on other ports along the coasts in the Pacificanna.
